My Weekend
I went to visit family in Southern Indiana this weekend. On the way there I stopped and had coffee at Books-a-Million with Bill. I had hoped to see Lady Julia as well but she was still sick. It has been at least three months since I had seen them.My cousin and his family had a bonfire and hayride. It sounds trite but it turned out to be fun. His kids are still young enough not to be obnoxious teenagers. I think the boy is 11 and the girl 9. I brought my guitar and plucked out a few things for us all to sing. I'd really like to be a lot better than I am.
We also watched Batman Begins. I think this may be my favorite of the Batman movies. Great villians, a lot of action. Decidedly worth renting.

Lord of War
I went to a rush hour showing of "Lord of War" today. The movie starred Nicholas Cage and Bridget Moynahan. Cage plays an arms dealer who says he has done business with every army but the Salvation Army. This is not a very likeable role for Cage but his acting was right on target. He's self-assured and snaky at the same time. You wouldn't think a movie about arms dealers would be even the slightest bit funny but this one definitely has its moments. If I were going to rate this on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 7.

All That Jazz
I'm kicking back in my La-Z Boy, sipping some fine Scotch and listening to the greatest album in jazz. After a day where nothing went right, it's good to have a haven.Nobody does jazz like Coltrane, especially in "A Love Supreme". Shades of Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman and Albert Ayler all run through it.
I love jazz. It touches something deep in me. I can't explain it. Can't put it in words. The only thing that relaxes me more is hypnosis. Maybe that is it. This music takes me to a place where I am relaxed and free of burdens.
After I finish my drink and my entry here, I'm going to listen to "Surrender", my favorite of Lady Julia's hypnosis MP3s. It should help me to wind down even more and help all the &$#@ from today disappear. I've told a few of my buddies about my hypnosis experience (leaving out the Domme submissive part). They're really skeptical, but a couple are going to listen to Lady Julia's non HypnoDomme MP3s. I'll burn them on a CD and give them a sample. I wonder if they will sense her strength in the midst of all that soothing sweetness?

Random Rumination
I've been asked to try blogging. Ordinarily I would have said "no" but I find it difficult to deny a beautiful woman. So, I begin.
The part I dislike the most about writing is knowing what to write about. I've been thinking about this first entry for two days and I still do not have a topic. Out of desperation I jotted down the quote of the day from my home page.
"Motivation is the art of getting people to do what you want them to do because they want to do it." - Eisenhower
This reminds me of something a HypnoDomme would say. We find ourselves doing whatever she suggests and thinking it is our idea. And we feel good about it.
